Exclusion is a specially formulated, complete hypoallergenic dietary food for dogs with food hypersensitivity.
Research has shown that animal proteins are the main cause of food hypersensitivity reactions. Exclusion is a vegetarian diet, based solely on vegetable raw materials. This makes Exclusion unique and ideal for dogs with a proven hypersensitivity to animal proteins. All the required nutrients are present in this food. Because this diet is free of animal protein, it can also be used for dogs that have urate urolithiasis.
- Prevents immunological reactions (food allergy) or non-immunological reactions (food intolerance) in the form of skin problems and/or digestive problems (diarrhoea, vomiting).
- Changing to a hypoallergenic diet will help to slowly reduce itching. This reduces scratching, rubbing and biting, which can cause secondary skin lesions.
- Very suited to be used as an exclusion diet by excluding animal protein.
It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use. The recommended duration of use for Exclusion is initially 3-8 weeks. When the hypersensitivity symptoms disappear, Exclusion can be fed for life as a complete dietary food.
